Event Description:
Harrods Creek Cemetery and Harrods Creek Farm Slave Cemetery Tour- on this tour participants visit two different cemeteries, within 2 miles of each other.  The slave cemetery relates to Hermitage Farm and other pre-Civil War sites in the central part of Oldham County.  The Harrods Creek Cemetery also has pre-Civil War graves up to current years. Tours are conducted by the Oldham County History Center
Location:
The Harrods Creek Cemetery is located by the Harrods Creek Christian Church at Brownsboro. The Harrods Creek Slave Cemetery is on private property.  The tour will begin at the Harrods Creek Cemetery.
Date/Time Information:
Oct. 5, 2022.  Tour starts at 6:30 p.m. Participants should wear comfortable walking shoes and bring flashlights.
