At Your Land & Title, we are seeking an experienced and motivated paralegal to assist our legal team with a variety of cases. The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of paralegal experience and a strong desire to grow within a well-established firm.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality support to attorneys specializing in real estate, estate planning, and elder law.
- Prepare and file legal documents, including but not limited to contracts, deeds, and trusts.
- Conduct research, manage case files, and ensure all paperwork is processed accurately and in a timely manner.
- Communicate effectively with clients, courts, and other parties involved in legal matters.
- Assist with client intake and maintain confidential records.
- Collaborate with a supportive team of professionals to achieve the best outcomes for clients.
- At least 3 years of paralegal experience in real estate law, estate planning, and elder law (preferred).
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Familiarity with programs such as Qualia, Simplifile, DecisionVault, and WealthCounsel, or a willingness to learn them.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with an ability to interact professionally with clients and colleagues.
- Highly detail-oriented and able to handle multiple tasks and deadlines effectively.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, demonstrating a strong work ethic and initiative.
- Notary Public in Kentucky and/or Indiana
